Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of escrow information and payments assuring processes meet company standards and guidelines by reviewing escrow payment documentation for accuracy and resolving issues as needed, to make payments timely
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain insurance escrow details in automated systems.
- Generate and review escrow bill file reports daily and analyze/verify information to ensure information is recorded accurately for various lenders and/or review and process Quick Pay requests via ticketing platform.
- Respond to escrow inquiries from lenders via phone, email and/or ticketing system.
- Enter information into automated systems related to escalated bills and quick pays for immediate payment processing.
- Monitor email for notification of cancellations and process escrow cancellations accurately and within company standards.
- Validate Hazard payee conversion and force place insurance dates
- Perform data validation on property mismatches, payment inconsistencies
- Attend departmental meetings as requested
- Maintain appropriate, professional working relationships with clients and other employees
- Other related projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate degree and two years of escrow services experience in a banking or mortgage setting
- Prior insurance experience preferred
- Strong computer skills include MS Office software, especially
