Matthew joined the company in 2015 and has been in the insurance brokerage industry since 2004. He most recently served as our Controller, responsible for accounting and financial reporting and analysis.

Matthew graduated from Baylor University in 2001 with a Master of Accountancy degree and began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen in Dallas, TX. After spending three years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and KPMG, Matthew joined Colemont Insurance Brokers in 2004 and was VP of Finance when Colemont merged with AmWINS Group in 2010. After departing AmWINS in 2012, Matthew served as Controller for Regional Excess Underwriters (REU) until REU merged with Steamboat Group in 2015.
