ATLANTA, Ga., January 27, 2022 — Three Breckenridge Group executives recently earned promotions due to their leadership and ongoing contributions to the success of its operating units.
Angel Cruz was appointed executive vice president from senior vice president and chief financial officer. Having joined Breckenridge in 2016, he has executive responsibility for all finance and accounting functions as well as information technology and systems for the company. With 25 years of finance experience in the insurance industry overall, Cruz leads the organization’s continued investment in strategic technology and accounting best practices.
Caren Henry was appointed senior vice president, marketing from vice president. Henry joined the company in 2014, having consulted for the company for several years prior. She oversees the strategic branding, marketing and corporate communications for the company. Henry has nearly 30 years of marketing experience having held marketing executive roles for industry-leading advertising agencies, accounts and companies.
Sonya O’Malley, SHRM-SCP, SPHR was appointed senior vice president, human resources from vice president. Having joined Breckenridge in 2015, O’Malley leads all human resources functions including talent acquisition, compensation, training and development, performance management, staffing and benefits programs for the company. She previously spent nearly 17 years in human resources for two insurance divisions of a leading insurance carrier.
